Nearly every day, another new free outdoor music festival is announced for the summer season, including such mainstays as SummerStage, Celebrate Brooklyn!, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Mad. Sq. Music, and River to River as well as such lesser-known quantities as Music on the Oval, the Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival, and the BAM Rhythm & Blues Festival.
