The annual Grand Gourmet eating frenzy in Grand Central will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in grand style, with more than thirty local restaurants offering signature dishes in Vanderbilt Hall on April 29. Headed by restaurant chair Burak Karaçam and restaurant captain Jason Avery of Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, the event will feature food from such Midtown hot spots as Charlie Palmer’s Métrazur, the Grand Central Oyster Bar, Magnolia, the Palm Too, Pershing Square, Bobby Van’s, Riingo, Murray’s Cheese Shop, and Triomphe. Tickets are $75 and benefit the Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services Corporation, a nonprofit organization that helps the homeless in New York City.
