Longtime star of Charles Ludlam’s Ridiculous Theatrical Company, Everett Quinton is currently acting up a storm in Buddy Thomas and Kenneth Elliott’s campy sci-fi spoof, DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND. Quinton plays Florence Wexler, joined by Andy Halliday as Dotty Primrose, Paul Pecorino as Mattie Van Buren, and Chris Dell’Armo as Lucinda Marsh, all caught up in a possible alien invasion in their small 1957 American town. Special kudos go to costume designer Gail Baldoni and wig and hair designer Gerard Kelly, who do a particularly impressive job with the actors who appear in drag. A hit at the 2009 Fringe Festival, DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND is enjoying a limited run at New World Stages. Tickets are selling fast, but twi-ny has four pairs to give away for free.
