The historic Eldridge Street Synagogue, which dates from 1887, will be holding its first Winter Garden Festival celebrating the holiday of Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish equivalent of Arbor Day. The family-friendly afternoon will include genealogy, flower planting, a tour of the restored temple, storytelling, and a traditional Tu B’Shvat seder.
