The seventh annual Frieze New York art fair is under way on Randall’s Island, with a reorganized, more thematic layout under new artistic director Loring Randolph. You’ll still find such themes as Frame, Spotlight, and Focus in addition to For Your Infotainment: Hudson and Feature Inc. and Live, interactive installations and performances curated by Adrienne Edwards. Among the restaurants at this year’s event are Court Street Grocers, Foul Witch by Blanca (we highly recommend the snap peas with seaweed, flower petals, and cashews in a clam broth spiked with chili oil), Frankies Spuntino, Gertie, Roberta’s, and the Fat Radish.
