With the weather hopefully getting better, Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market is beginning its third installment of the New York Gourmet Food Truck Bazaar on Sunday — it was supposed to kick off last week but got canceled because of the weather. Every second Sunday of the month through October, a handful of food trucks will join the market on Thirty-ninth St. between Ninth and Tenth Aves., serving a wide range of international delicacies. On April 29, you’ll be able to partake of a very good cheesesteak from Phil’s Steaks, awesome spicy rice cakes, kimchi arancini, and spicy seared-pork kim-cheesesteak from Kimchi Taco, excellent grass-fed burgers and Belgian-style double-fried frites from Frites ‘n’ Meats, lobster and shrimp rolls, a lobster BLT, and clam chowder from Red Hook Lobster Pound, and tangy citrus, spicy ginger, and green and black tea frozen drinks from Kelvin Natural Slush Co. All of that good food should give you energy to keep on shopping, checking out such places as A’s Collectibles, Athena Vintage Clothing, Bad Boys of 39th Street, the Boxmen, Kojo Volta Tribal Arts, Marlow’s Treasure Chest, Nen’s Tibet, Smuggler’s Cove, and many more.
