Unlike most of the other haunted-house attractions in New York City this Halloween season, this one, created by the Vortex Theater’s Josh Randall and Kris Thor, involves actual contact, and you have to go through it alone, not in a group, take off your shoes and socks, wear a facemask, and carry a flashlight. In addition, no one under eighteen will be admitted because of scenes of extreme sex and violence, and you will have to sign a waiver because of the many rules. Remember, the emergency word is “safety.”
